Privacy policy
Last updated: 12 October 2026
This policy explains how UniManage Software ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit this website, contact us or use our products. We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
1. Data we collect
- When you contact us or ask for a demo: your name, mobile number, company or institute, email, city, organisation size and message. The demo form on this website does not store anything on our servers; it opens WhatsApp or your email app so that you send the details to us yourself.
- When you use our products: account details of your users, and the business data you enter, such as employees, students, customers, items and transactions. This data belongs to you (our customer); we process it only to provide the service.
- Technical data: our hosting provider may log IP addresses and browser details for security. This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
2. How we use it
- To reply to you, give you a demo and set up your account.
- To provide, secure, support and improve our products.
- To send service messages such as invoices, renewal reminders and important updates.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting requirements.
We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not use your business data for advertising.
3. Storage and security
Product data is stored on servers in India. It is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), sensitive fields such as PAN and bank details are encrypted at rest, each customer's data is kept separate, access is role-based, every change is recorded in an audit trail, and backups are taken daily.
4. Sharing
We share data only with service providers who help us run the service (hosting, payment gateway, SMS, email and WhatsApp delivery), under confidentiality obligations, or when the law requires it.
5. How long we keep it
Enquiry details are kept for as long as needed to respond and follow up. Product data is kept while your subscription is active and for a reasonable period after it ends so you can export it, after which it is deleted on request or as the law allows.
6. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, export or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, or raise a grievance. Write to unimqmage@gmail.com or call +91 95695 35244. We reply within 30 days.
7. Grievance officer
